Great deviled eggs but calamari not so good. Almost as if the oil in the fryer was old and made it a little slimy, but will return to try other food. Bar service was a little flat.

To start off, we absolutely appreciated the excellent service and friendliness of the host, the bartenders extensive knowledge and the chefs appreciation for perfection. In addition to this, our drinks were very tasty and had the pick me up we were looking for. The food was cooked to perfection and our dessert was the cherry on top!

The service we received was amazing from Rachel, our server, to Brett the manager, we felt like the only people there. We enjoyed our talk with the sous chef, who we took time to talk about pork belly dishes and the bartender who recommended an amazing rum that is now a favorite. That alone could make our review 5 stars. But the food should make this a 10 star review. My husband had the Pork Belly that was on a whole different level of flavor. My Yellow Fin Tuna was artwork for the eyes and taste buds. I can not wait for our next visit to try another couple yummy dishes. One thing I also liked is there are several seasonal dishes that make the menu ever evolving!

Driving from Boston to Fort Lauderdale, we chose the Hyatt Place in Florence, SC, as our second stop. Conveniently located, the hotel is just across the street from a gem of a restaurant, Town Hall, which seems to be a favorite among locals and travelers alike. After parking, we took a short stroll with our husky around the neighborhood, and it became clear that Town Hall was the place to be.
For dinner, we started with the spinach salad, which was fresh and flavorful—a perfect way to whet our appetites. For the main course, we ordered the Town Hall Smash Burger and the hangar steak. Both dishes were outstanding, prepared to perfection, and delivered with impeccable taste. The burger was juicy and indulgent, while the steak was tender, cooked to the ideal temperature, and seasoned just right.
The restaurant’s warm and inviting atmosphere added to the experience. By 6:30 PM, every table was filled, creating a lively yet cozy vibe. To cap off the evening, we saved a few bites of the steak for our husky, who was thrilled with the treat and clearly approved of our dining choice. Town Hall was a delightful highlight of our journey, and we’ll definitely keep it in mind for future stops.

I highly recommend this place!
This is the second time we've celebrated here. The first was my husband's birthday and the second was our wedding anniversary. The service and food were wonderful on both occasions. What makes it even more special are the cards and frames they prepare for the occasion. The waiter was super nice and friendly. This is the kind of place that I would go to every week if I could.

We went for brunch and had a great experience. The food was top notch. Chicken and waffles were very good, chicken biscuit with pimento cheese was my favorite, and another friend got a burger. We had more than we could eat and I had two drinks and I got out for $100, which I expected for what we wanted to try. It wasn’t crowded but I hope people continue to come, because our group thought it was amazing! Highly recommend the melon salad, local sausage, and banana pudding cinnamon roll for starters. Also, the server was very sweet, timely, and knowledgeable. I cannot remember her name, but she was wonderful! Will be back plenty!

Traveling through on our way to Florida my wife and I decided to find somewhere to stop for the night, we stopped off in Florence. Being Valentines day weekend we were skeptical that we would find a nice place for dinner, did we get lucky when we found the Town Hall. Two open spots at the bar in a packed house, friendly staff from the greeter to the bartenders, great drinks, amazing locally sourced food in a beautiful city. If this place was closer to home we would be there all the time.
Thank you for a great evening.

I had an incredible experience at TownHall in Florence, SC, and I want to give a huge shoutout to Branson, one of the cooks who truly made my visit exceptional.
The food he prepared was absolutely outstanding — full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with real pride and attention to detail. You can always taste when someone loves what they do, and that was definitely the case here.
Branson’s cooking elevated the entire TownHall experience for me. It’s rare to find someone who consistently delivers that level of quality, and it deserves to be recognized. He made my visit memorable, and I’m already looking forward to coming back thanks to him.
If you’re visiting TownHall, you’re in great hands — especially if Branson is in the kitchen!

We had a late brunch and were pleasantly surprised at the hospitality and service! Ellie took very good care of us, and Dominique was an excellent host! The Town Hall Burgers, the Salmon BLT, and Biscuits and Gravy were excellent entrees, and the breakfast sausage appetizer was delicious. The sleeper and overall winner were the Fried Oyster Deviled Eggs!! That alone was worth the price of admission! If we ever find ourselves in Florence SC, we will definitely return! And they have a corkage fee so bring your best bottles of wine!

The quality of service and food at this establishment is something above experiences I've had in most places in South Carolina, even having lived in Charleston for over a decade. Just for my birthday, they still provide a hand signed card from the staff. It's not lost on me what each of these people's time is worth every day. I just wanted to thank them for being so wonderful in all aspects for my own, and my family's evening.
